ICNP® is owned and copyrighted by the International Council of Nurses (ICN). ICN is interested in facilitating access to ICNP® and promoting its use. Any use of ICNP®, be it commercial or not, requires an agreement authorizing such use. ICN is interested in protecting its copyright of ICNP®.

Commercial use

For commercial agreements, where ICNP® is re-sold in products for a profit, a contract and licensing fee is required. Please contact ICNP for this agreement.

Non-commercial use

If the use is non-commercial, such as use of ICNP® in education and research, there is no fee and you can download the latest version. See below for details.

If you need to download the file again at a later date, just contact us to request the files, or complete the form again and make it clear in the project information that you have already submitted your project.

1. Fill up the form

You will need to be logged in to continue. (If you do not have an account on C-Space, you will need to register first.)

We will then ask you a few questions about how you will use the ICNP- this helps us keep track of the use of ICNP round the world.

We will also ask you to read the agreement and confirm that you accept it before you can go ahead and download.

2. Download the file

You will then be able to click on a link to the ICNP data file. Please note that this link will only be available for 1 hour after you access this page. After this time, if you try to use it, you will receive an error message.
